On Your Special Day

We know that planning a party or your special day can be very stressful. There are a lot of things to consider, and when it finally comes to the event you just want to relax and enjoy the company of your family and friends. What better way to celebrate your day with those around you, than with a live band creating a great atmosphere, embracing the spirit of the occasion leaving you and your guests on a high?

Weddings

Cuva Up knows this is your special day, we will work hard for your enjoyment. We want you and your guests to have a really good time, that's important to us. We perform at many weddings and feedback is always fantastic.

Our Equipment

We have sweeping disco lights, which light up the dance floor area immediately in front of the band, and sound to light coloured boxed lights. We also have a professional sound system that can accommodate small or large venues. Some venues are equipped with noise limiters to break the sound if the levels are too high. If your chosen venue has one of these, we will need to know before we start playing to ensure we adjust our sound accordingly. Noise limiters have the ability to cut the sound off with no warning so this is very important.

If you would like other music when we are not playing, you can bring an iPod / MP3 player with a selection of music on it that we will be able to plug into our sound system. Alternately, we can provide an iPod with music on it.

In order to play, we require a minimum space of 20 feet by 10 feet (6 metres by 3 metres), and we take about 1.5 hours to set everything up.
