Q What sort of music do you play? jaz
Our music is varied to cater for all ages. Music is played from the 60's through to the present day. We hope there's a little something for everyone to enjoy. And yes there's those lovely ballads for that special time of the evening.
Q Can we come and see you play live ?blackb
Yes. We invite couples to come and hear us rehearse, we are a friendly bunch and will make you more than welcome. All you need to do is just sit back and relax, choose 4 or 5 of your favourite songs from our set list, and we'll do the rest.
Q How much do you charge ?white
Charging very much depends on the location of venue. Our rates are very competitive, please contact us for details.
Q Do you have a professional sound system?Cos
Yes we have a profesional sound system that can accomodate small or large venues. However, if the venue has a noise limiter fitted, please be aware that these can cut the sound without warning. So, please ensure that an appropriate venue operator is available if a noise limiter is fitted to eliminate any disruption to your evening entertainment.
Q Do you have lighting ? alice
Yes. We have sweeping disco lights, which light up the dance floor area immediately infront of the band, and sound to light coloured boxed lights.
Q Is your equipment P.A.T. tested ?cuva
Yes. A P.A.T Test Certificate is available on request.
Q How long do you play for?blue
A. 2 X 1 hour sets. However if you have any particular timing arrangements we can work with you regarding this.
Q. Do you have a cd to listen to?red
A. Yes cd's are available on request, also check out our set list page for mp3 downloads.
Q .Can you play our first dance?yellow
A. Yes. If it is not in our repertoire, we can play the original off CD.
Q. How far do you travel?purple
A. Anywhere, (Travel costs may be added required depending on distance to venue).
Q. How long do you take to set up?pink
A. Roughly about an hour and a half.
Q. Is music provided during the break?orange
A. Yes we can provide background music during the break if no Dj has been hired.
Q.How much space do you require?green
A. Approx 20 ft X 10 ft minimum.
Q.Do you have a dress option?brown
A. Normally we dress in black but will dress for any occasions accordingly ( black bow tie/white dress shirt etc).
Q. How long before the event do we need to book the band?silver
A. We always recommend booking as early as possible. Many of our clients book anywhere between 6 to 12 months ahead. However, we can be available on short notice, please contact Rob for availablity.
Q. How do i pay for the band?gold
A. We accept Cheque payment for the deposit, and will accept cheque payment for balance, but only if it is cleared funds one week before the event. Alternatively cash on our arrival at venue is fine.
Our finish time is usually upto 11.30pm. We can perform past this time prior to arrangements made in advance.
Q. How much is the deposit?deposit
A. A deposit of £100 is required to confirm your booking, please make cheques payable to Cuva Up
